On May 13, 2004, EnCana Holdings Finance Corp., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of EnCana Corp., completed a public offering of US$1 billion of 5.80 per cent notes due May 1, 2014, guaranteed by EnCana Corp. The offering was made in the US under a previously filed shelf registration statement for up to US$2 billion of debt securities. Deutsche Bank Securities and Morgan Stanley acted as joint book-running and lead managers for the offering.
